Psalm 24:1–2 (ESV)
1 The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,
2 for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

Everything belongs to the Lord. It is all his because he created it. That includes not only the rocks and sky and sea, but also you and me.

When we look around at the Lord’s creation, we see his power, beauty, and love on display. We can be thankful that he created us and also that he is given us so many wonderful things to enjoy. When we enjoy the beach or ice cream or the laughter of friends, let us be reminded of the goodness of our Creator and let us give thanks to him.
