Isaiah 9:6 (ESV)

6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Understanding and Applying the Word

Take time today to thank God for Jesus Christ, the child who was born into the world to lead us and save us. We have a wonderful King who rules over us in love. Praise his name!
